As of June 17th, 2016 death by assisted suicide and euthanasia has been made legal in Canada.

To aid in personal understanding and  how to respond to Bill C-14 we hosted a workshop facilitated by Steven Defer from the  Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton,  focussing on the Guidelines for the Celebration of the Sacraments with Persons & Families Considering or Opting for Death by Assisted Suicide or Euthanasia, a  document put out by  the Bishops of Alberta and the NWT in response to the new legislation.
